Once Upon a Time when Kennedy was president and the nation optimistic, a handsome hoodlum from the big city met a cute little bobbie socker from the country. It was April Fool's Day. They didn't know what hit them.
They fell in love and let nature take its course.....and since this was before The Pill, the bobbie socker was soon with child.
They married quickly as was the custom in those days.
A few short months later, New Year's Day to be exact, she gave birth to a tiny baby girl (Trust me I gained weight quickly).
Luckily she had the forsight to enter into a contest with the local newspaper that provided the first baby of that year with many gifts, or else said baby would have been sleeping in a dresser drawer since they were so broke.

And so they became a family that grew and grew and grew.
